Premio "Talento di Genova 2023"

"Genoa Talent 2023" Award

Genoa's young talents were honored this afternoon in the state room of Palazzo Tursi, in the presence of Mayor Marco Bucci.
The ceremony was attended by City Council President Carmelo Cassibba, Councilor for Youth Policies Francesca Corso, and Manuela Arata, the Mayor's Advisor for Innovation and Technology and coordinator of the Committee for the Promotion of Genoa's Talent.

"Genoa has always been a true hotbed of talent, where creativity, passion, and innovation are its hallmarks," commented Cassibba. "I'm delighted that this important recognition exists, for which I thank the organizers. It aims to celebrate and support the excellence of young people who, I like to repeat, are already the future of our city.

The students awarded today have demonstrated commitment and achieved extraordinary results in their fields. I hope they can serve as an example for all those who aspire to excel in their respective fields: a city's strength also lies in its ability to celebrate and cultivate its talents.
"This initiative was created to tell the stories of young talents and recognize these talented individuals, who capitalize on their experiences abroad before returning to Genoa," Corso emphasized. "I would therefore like to congratulate the young people present today, who are connected to our city by birth or adoption, and I hope that their passion and exceptional abilities can serve as an example to all young people."
The Fabio Accorrà Award for photography was given to actor Andrea Dodero, journalist Silvia Isola, soprano Benedetta Torre, and athletes Michela Braga (boxing), Simone Porro (volleyball), Marco Dogliotti and Alessio Cindolo (sailing), and Klaudio Agaj (swimming). The Pertini Vocal Ensemble also received an award for its student choir.
